Bus passenger charter

Following the publication of the National Bus Strategy, we have developed our Bus Service Improvement Plan and established an Enhanced Partnership to ensure our transport network meets the evolving needs of our community

This plan is part of a national effort to improve buses and involves the council and bus companies working closely together. By teaming up, we aim to make buses more reliable, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone.

Whether you are going to work, school, or just exploring the area, we want your journey to be smooth and pleasant. This charter explains what you can expect from the Enhanced Partnership.

Service and information

You can expect:

  • timetables and route details to be displayed at key bus stops and updated quickly after any changes
  • up-to-date bus timetables, route maps, and travel info available on our and bus companies’ websites
