Woodford Halse C.E. Primary Academy is a larger than average village primary school with just over 260 pupils. The school provides for children from Nursery age through to Year 6, in 10 classes. Leaders’ values are for pupils to be ready, resilient, respectful and reflective. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils is above the national average. The proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language and from minority ethnic backgrounds is below the national average. The proportion of pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is well above the national picture whereas the number who have an education, health and care plan (EHCP) is below the national average.
