Stepping Stones Preschool, Clipston

We are a friendly rural preschool offering termtime childcare for children from the age of two in a beautiful Northamptonshire village setting until they go to primary school. We believe that independence is the cornerstone of lifelong learning: through carefully designed activities and daily routines, we encourage children to take on responsibilities that are appropriate for their age. We also ensure that outdoor play is a daily part of our curriculum, regardless of theseason, and we embrace all types of weather, knowing that each offers unique opportunities for learning and fun. Our children experience the joys of every season, building resilience and a love for the outdoors, and for the childrenin their pre-school year we run an extremely popular weekly Forest School. At Stepping Stones we ensure that each child is able to progress at her/his own rate in all areas of development, and this is also true for children with and without disabilities or learning difficulties, and we have a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator who is responsible for seeing that any additional needs are met.
