Description
At our nursery, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key services include: Individualized Support Plans: Tailored to each child’s unique needs, ensuring specific interventions and strategies are in place to support their development. Qualified SENCO: Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator works closely with staff, families, and external professionals to ensurethat children with SEND receive appropriate support and monitoring. Inclusive Environment: Our setting is designedto be accessible and adaptable, ensuring all children can participate fully in activities and learning experiences. Key Worker System: Every child, including those with SEND, has a dedicated key worker to provide consistent care, build strong relationships, and track their progress. Collaborative Partnerships: We work closely with parents and external professionals, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support and share regular updates on each child’s progress. Staff Training: Our team receives ongoing training on SEND topics, ensuring they are equipped to support a range of additional needs. Inclusive Curriculum: Our curriculum and activities are designed to be both accessible and challenging for children with SEND, fostering engagement and meaningful participation.Emotional and Social Support: We prioritise children’s emotional well-being and social development, fostering confidence and positive relationships with peers.
