Clarecroft Day Nursery

Clarecroft staff are fully committed to providing a ‘home from home’ environment for children to enjoy. The setting welcomes children from 3 months to 11 years old and aims to provide a children with high-quality care in a warm, safe and friendly environment with a variety of stimulating resources. The nursery has an enclosed garden with safety flooring and a variety of age-appropriate outdoor resources. The nursery also has a CCTV system installed throughout the premises. At Clarecroft, staff follow the 'early years foundation' stage framework to support early learning experiences, and this is backed up with lots of practical hands-on activities forchildren in all age groups. However, Clarecroft is about more than just covering the curriculum; it’s about teaching children to share experiences and building confidence.Staff hold appropriate early years qualifications which give children the care and inspiration needed to thrive in a rich and fun learning environment. The nursery cook prepares freshly cooked meals on the premises daily. Individual dietary needs are also catered for. All staff are trained in paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, manual handling as well as plenty of other ongoing training to support the delivery of the 'early years foundation stage'. This ensures that parents have peace of mind when leaving children in the nursery. The nursery has strong partnerships with parents and staff keep parents updated about each child's day on a daily basis. Funded places are available for children from the age of 9 months. Clarecroft will provide all children with the opportunity to make friends and gain the confidence to make the move up into the first year at school and beyond.
