Description

Community transport for elderly and disabled people living in Northampton (postcodes NN1 - NN5) who are unable to use public transport.

The scheme enables registered members to get about allowing them to maintain their independence for longer. The scheme predominantly takes passengers to medical appointments within Northamptonshire, but are able to do a limited number of long distance medical appointments. 

The scheme also offers transport to other services such as well-being groups. 

To use the scheme passengers must be registered and pay the annual membership fee. In addition, passengers pay the volunteer driver on the day (an agreed per mile cost). Carers or companions can travel at no extra cost.
