Children and Young People’s Referral Management Centre (CYPRMC) - NHS

The Children and Young People's Referral Management Centre (RMC) provides a single point of access for professionals to make referrals into children and young people's specialist community health services. It aims to help referrers to make sure children and young people are seen by the right person, with the right skills, at the right time.

The RMC is always expanding its services for children and young people throughout the county. This is the current list of services that it facilitates referrals for:

NHFT - Specialist Children's Services:

• Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Children’s Community Nursing
• Community Paediatrics
• Children's Community Team for People With a Learning Disability (CTPLD)
• Children’s Continence Service
• Children’s Dietetics
• Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (including CAMHS)
• Looked After Children (mental health only, not for medicals or health assessments)
• Children’s Occupational Therapy
• Children’s Physiotherapy
• Children’s Speech and Language Therapy
• Children’s Eating Disorder Service
• Complex Feeding Difficulties Service (CFDS)

Who Is This Service For?

Any professional who is working with a child. The service does not accept referrals from parents.

How To Access This Service

The RMC accepts referrals from any professional who is working with a child, young person, and their families. It uses one generic referral form which enables professionals to refer to any service in the same way and by the same route.
