Description
A parent-carer is someone who has the responsibility to provide care to a child or young person under the age of 18 with a disability, special educational need, on-going physical or mental health difficulties or a life limiting condition.
Northamptonshire Carers offers a wide range of services that ALL carers can access:
- Carer Support Line: 01933 677907 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
- Carers Assessments
- Social activities
- Support groups
- Sign-posting to other services

- Self-Advocacy Toolkit for Parent Carers
Parent-Carer Weekly Zoom Meeting (First Thursday of the month, 1-2pm)
The Parent-Carer Team are inviting parent-carers (looking after a child or young person under the age of 18) to join an informal get-together on a monthly basis. It will giving parent-carers the opportunity to connect with others and to speak with a member of the Parent-Carer Team.
