Community Law Service (Northampton and County)

The Community Law Service provides comprehensive advice and representation in welfare benefits, energy efficiency, debt, housing, and immigration. This service is free, independent, and confidential.

Community Law can offer specialist advice and assistance with any benefits, debts, housing, immigration, and energy advice. This service includes home visits, appointments at community venues and in Community Law offices (in Northampton and Wellingborough).

• Energy Advice - energy efficiency and income maximisation advice
• Immigration Advice - family reunion, European worker rights, entry clearance applications

Information and Access Points   The Community Law Service's Information and Access Points provide drop-in sessions at the Guildhall in Northampton (Tuesdays 10am-12noon) or at Towcester Library (on the fourth Thursday of the month). A short assessment will made to determine your advice needs. Then they will either provide one-off advice on the day or make an appointment to take your case further. Specialist drop-in sessions are provided for:
