My child/young person has an EHC assessment in process or an EHCP
Each child and young person, and their family, will have an allocated caseworker who should be your be point of contact. You will be given their name and contact details when the request for assessment is first received.
However, we know that this is a new way of working and some families may not have been updated with who their caseworker is.
If this is the case, there are a few ways of finding out.
You can view the school caseworker allocations in the document below.
If your child is in an educational setting (Early Years to Post-16) you can find the caseworkers email by their educational setting name using the document above.
Each setting has an allocated caseworker, and all children and young people attending that setting have the same caseworker.
If your child’s setting is not on the list send an email to one of the following (depending on where you live), you can email:
- Northampton: [email protected]
- South Northants or Daventry: [email protected]
If your child does not attend an educational setting for any reason (such as EOTAS, EHE, awaiting school placement) please also use the above emails.
A team member will respond within five working days to provide the necessary contact information.
If you do not have access to email please call 01604 526115 (Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm) to request the name of your child/young person’s caseworker.
Tell us about a change of address
If you are moving home, please let us know your new address. This may affect your transport arrangements and we will need to review this as soon as possible. You will also need to let your son or daughter’s school know your new address.
