LIVE - Support to achieve independence
Bespoke support is offered by the LIVE team to enable people to achieve their goals and aspirations around employment, volunteering and independence.
You can use this service if you are over 18 and have eligible needs, as per the Care Act 2014.

What the service can do for you
This service places the individual at the centre of their support, working with people to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
LIVE offers:
- job and volunteer placement searching
- skills development
- CV writing
- job coaching
- independent travel training
- employer engagement and employer support
- interview techniques and preparation
How you get the service
A social care professional needs to refer you to the service - contact Adult Social Care.
What happens once you are referred
A worker from the LIVE team will meet you at a place of your choice to talk through support options and your goals. Once a development plan is agreed, a start date is agreed when support will commence.
How you get the service reviewed
The Care Manager will carry out statutory reviews. However, the service will continue to work with you in reviewing the support offered.
