Food Safety in Catering - Level 2 (taught)
This qualification is aimed at those who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering. That is anyone working in a catering setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled. It is also appropriate for those providing services to catering premises including pest-control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners, and laundry and delivery personnel.

The cost is £90 per delegate (excluding lunch: refreshments provided).
The topics covered include:
- how to take personal responsibility for food safety
- the importance of keeping yourself clean and hygienic
- the importance of keeping work areas clean and hygienic
- the importance of keeping food safe
This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination.
The courses are taught by qualified food officers and accredited to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
