2025 Housing Association Rent Increases
The Benefits Section is usually informed of your Annual Rent Increase by your Housing Association. You will receive an updated Benefit Notification in March showing your Benefit Entitlement from April 2025.
If it does not include your rent increase, email your Rent Increase letter to [email protected] or bring it to a WNC office.
If you receive Universal Credit, update your Housing Costs through the Universal Credit Portal and provide evidence.
Our Customer Portal allows you to access information about your tenant’s Housing Benefit claim when payments are made directly to you.
To access the Portal you will need to register, using your creditor reference, and you will need to provide details to verify your registration.
Once your account has been set up, you will be able to view the following:
- Housing Benefit payment schedules, including previous payments made to you since 18th January 2024
- Details of your tenant’s Housing Benefit entitlement
- The status of your tenant’s claim
- Overpayment details
- Housing Benefit notification letters
