Oliver McGowan Training – guidance

You can view guidance provided by NHFT regarding the Oliver McGowan training. The tier required for each staff member will be decided by the employer, link to tier guidance.

There isn’t a specification that states what needs to be included in LDA training if people want to develop their own. However, it would need to match to competencies within the core capabilities framework for supporting people with a learning disability and core capabilities framework for supporting autistic people.

You can find further information on other learning disability and autism training.
