Overseas and service voters

If you are a British or eligible Irish citizen living abroad who has previously lived in the UK or been registered to vote in the UK, you can register to vote in UK Parliamentary elections.

Service Voters

Registering as service voter means that, even if you are posted abroad, you will be registered at a fixed UK address for 5 years. 

Register as a service voter

If you are unlikely to be posted overseas or change your address in the next year you can register to vote as usual. See our register to vote page for more information.
