Apprenticeships and traineeships

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a great way to get a formal qualification while earning and learning. They are open to anyone aged 16 and over, including our own employees, and there is no upper age limit.

They last between 1 and 3 years depending on the subject and level, and once completed, you can continue in your current role, progress onto a higher role or participate in another apprenticeship.

Our specialists will:

  • let you know what to expect
  • clarify how much study time you will be eligible for
  • give you access to a comprehensive induction
Our apprenticeships

We have over 100 employees undertaking apprenticeships. Examples of current apprenticeships include:

  • Business Analyst
  • HR Apprenticeships (Level 3 to 7)
  • Team Leader or Supervisor

We provide generous holiday time alongside flexible working and continued professional working options.

Before starting, you will need:

  • evidence of Maths and English qualifications (if you don’t have this or have lost your certificates, you can take a functional skills course in Maths or English alongside your apprenticeship)
  • your manager's support for off the job training and assignments
  • a current related job role
  • to be aged 16 plus at the time of enrolment
  • to be a UK or European Economic Area (EEA) resident or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years
  • not be in full-time education at the time of enrolment

Apply

There are 2 ways to become an apprentice with us:

  1. Become an employee and speak to your manager about joining an apprenticeship
  2. Search and apply for one of our apprenticeship vacancies

You can also find an apprenticeship on the GOV.uk website.

Traineeships and T-Levels for 16- to 24-year-olds

Traineeships and T-Levels are a route into apprenticeships. Traineeships are for 16 to 24-year-olds coming out of education who would like to gain employment skills, while T-Levels are an alternative to A-Levels where you can gain valuable work experience while studying. This is either in between or instead of following the higher education route.

If you or someone you know is aged 16 or above and are interested in Traineeships or T-Levels, please contact us at [email protected] for more information.
