Cooling tower notifications

Cooling towers and evaporative condensers have been associated with outbreaks of legionnaires' disease, which is a type of pneumonia. If you are in control of a premises which has a cooling tower or evaporative condenser on site, then you have a statutory duty to notify us of this under The Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992. The purpose of the registration scheme is to identify potential sources of legionella risk.

There is no fee to register.

Please contact us to inform us if your cooling tower or evaporative condenser it is no longer being used or has been removed by email to [email protected] or call 0300 126 7000, Option 3.
