Join us for an unforgettable weekend of fun, family, and food as we celebrate the grand reopening of the newly revitalised Market Square!

To officially mark this significant occasion, there will be an opening ceremony from 12pm on Saturday 19 October. We will have a Main Stage showcasing top local talent both days with a line-up of artists and DJs curated by BBC Introducing and Northampton Music Festival.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy, with illusion shows, face painters and more, exciting sports activities to try out and captivating heritage and history displays. It is shaping up to be an experience you won’t want to miss!

Activities

There will be dedicated zones offering a wide-range of activities and fun for all the family. More details for each of our zones will be announced soon, and will be published here when they are available.

Main Stage

A curated line up of local and regional artists, featuring a finalist from one of televisions biggest talent shows and performances from BBC Introducing. 

Discovery Zone

Here you can find out more about the history of the market and the wider town.

Family Zone

An illusions show, circus workshop, balloon makers and face painters will all be provided in one space.

If books are more your thing, there will be a quiet corner with local treasures from our libraries.

Sports Zone

West Northamptonshire is home to sporting excellence. Here, you will be able to find out more about the world renowned sports across our local area.

Food and Drinks

Food, glorious food - we will be showcasing some of the very best from our local suppliers.
