Accident data requests

Any collision data that is required to be used for commercial purposes, for example as part of a planning application or to complete a road safety audit, is not available through a Freedom of Information request and is chargeable.

The charges are determined based on the number of years to be included and the size of the area within the request. The baseline cost is £45 per year per section of highway.

Any requests that are for a period / area that does not include any reported / recorded injury collisions is returned free of charge.
