- plastic bottles
- plastic tubs, trays and pots

- aerosols
- envelopes (including windows)
Items we don't accept
We don't accept:
- food waste (wrapped or unwrapped)
- pyrex, glass sheet and drinking glasses
- polystyrene/foam board
- black sacks and bin bags
- clothing and textiles (you can visit our reuse page to find eco friendly ways to deal with unwanted clothes and textiles)
- building supplies, including wood, paint
- carpet
- plastic toys
- tapes (VHS) and discs (CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray)

Sack collection
We supply a roll of 25 general waste sacks for £53 per roll, this includes collection.
What happens to your mixed recycling
Materials are collected and sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), where they are sorted and sent to different manufacturers for repurpose.
Recycled materials are made into new products that are used here in the UK. For example, all newsprint is now made from 100% recycled paper. The UK also exports recyclable materials to other countries.
