If you are looking for activities to enjoy with family or friends there is plenty to discover. Shopping

West Northamptonshire offers access to several unique and quality shopping centres and markets. Northampton’s historic market has recently undergone a £10.5million renovation and opens again to the public later this Autumn. Whether you are looking for the newest gadget or the latest fashion, you will always find places to treat yourself and have a delightful day out.

For retail therapy you can walk through the number of shopping centres in Northampton or take a look at the independent shops that populate the town centre.

The quaint town of Daventry opens a market on their street every Friday, supplying locals with fresh fruit, vegetables and more. The towns Towcester and Brackley boast both the classic retail shopping as well as a range of individual charity shops on their high-street.

West Northants offers an opportunity to find the boutique wares of a village shop and the high-end and everyday of larger markets.

Whatever you are in the mood for, there are award-winning restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes to get delicious food and drink.

Northampton hosts the wildly successful Northampton Music Festival. A free event that last year boasted over sixty incredible acts and took over the town with stages spanning from the market square to the Guildhall courtyard. The event gives local musicians the chance to shine while also bringing in well-known names.
