Why dental health is important (Easy Read)

A healthy mouth is important for your well-being.
Good mouth health means you do not have:
- mouth and face pain
- dental and throat cancer
- oral infection
- sores
- gum disease
- tooth decay and tooth loss
- conditions that make it hard to bite, chew, smile and speak
This is according to the World Health Organisation.

Most dental problems are preventable.
They can be treated in their early stages.
You can treat them by following a good dental health plan.
