Helen Bamber Foundation
The Helen Bamber Foundation is a human rights organisation. They offer treatment and support to refugees who have experienced extreme human cruelty.
Their staff provide support to meet the complex needs of survivors of:
- torture
- war
- genocide
- human trafficking for sexual exploitation or labour
- gender-based violence
- extreme domestic violence
Their services include:
- specialist psychological and physical therapy
- housing and welfare support
- legal protection
- creative arts and skills programmes
Along with Freedom from Torture, they are a principal centre for assessment of the sequalae of torture. They write medico-legal reports on referral from legal representatives and doctors.
Migrant Help
Migrant Help is charity offering advice and support to vulnerable migrants. They work closely with asylum accommodation providers to resolve issues, as well as responding to a range of other complaints.

The Refugee Council is a charity offering direct support to refugees and asylum seekers. They also campaign to improve the asylum system in the UK.
They have made a services directory. It has details of local organisations across the UK. These organisations offer specialist support to refugees and asylum seekers. This includes psychological, advocacy and legal support.
British Red Cross
The British Red cross have help for Ukrainian nationals. This includes information on the family migration visa and the Ukrainian family scheme.
