School safeguarding policies

Each education establishment should have a safeguarding and child protection policy which is reviewed on an annual basis as a minimum. The requirements in relation to this are outlined in 'Keeping Children Safe in Education: for schools and colleges (2022)'.

The Safeguarding in Education Service has updated for September 2022 a child protection and safeguarding children policy template which settings can adapt to suit their needs. This policy is applicable to both West and North Northamptonshire.
