Designated Safeguarding Lead - Initial DSL Training (Schools and Colleges)
Available dates: Tuesday 21 January 2025 and Thursday 01 May 2025
Location: Moulton Community Centre, 9:15am to 4:30pm
Course cost: £150 per delegate, your setting will be invoiced for the advertised cost of the course
Course outline
This is an all-day course for newly appointed Designated Safeguarding Leads. Delivered as a face to face session, delegates will discuss and cover the roles and responsibilities of the DSL, statutory guidance that informs the DSL role, different forms of abuse and how to recognise and respond to concerns.

Available dates: Wednesday 29 January 2025 and Wednesday 07 May 2025
Location: WNC One Angel Square, Northampton, 9:15am to 4:30pm
Course cost: £150 per delegate, your setting will be invoiced for the advertised cost of the course
Course outline
This is a one-day face to face course designed for experienced DSLs / DDSLs who have already completed an Initial DSL course. This course fulfils your statutory duty to update your training every 2 years in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
