DVLA Driving licence

You must hold a full DVLA driving licence for at least 3 years prior to the date of application.

The driving licence must specify your current home address. We advise that you check the government guidance for non-UK driving licenses.

Check government guidance

You need to upload a copy of your DVLA photo driving licence when applying and to supply us with a DVLA check code to allow us to check the authenticity of your licence.

A DVLA driving licence check is repeated every 3 years.
