New driver knowledge test legislation, policy and local area question topics

Once you have submitted a complete application, your DBS has been returned and where applicable a subcommittee hearing held, you will be booked on to the next available an induction day and knowledge test.

Induction day information

Location: The Forum, Moat Lane, Towcester, NN12 6AD (There may be last minute room changes so please wait in reception for an officer to collect you.)

Applicants attending later than 9:15am will be turned away - you can then contact us to arrange an alternative date.

Legislation and Policy

You are expected to be familiar with the West Northamptonshire Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy and legislation, however the induction day presentation will cover specific areas you will need to know for the completing the knowledge test
