Youth clubs for young people with special educational needs
Action for Children
These clubs are commissioned by the council as part of the Short Breaks offer for children and young people with special educational needs.

Autism East Midlands
Autism East Midlands run a Family Support Hub for children aged 11 and under to attend with their families. This is on the first Monday of each month from 4pm to 7pm. No booking is required and the whole family can attend.

Deafconnect - for young people with a hearing impairment
Deafconnect run 2 youth groups twice a month at Spencer Dallington Community Centre - one junior club and one senior club. If the young person feels more comfortable at the junior or senior club, the age ranges are flexible.
Clubs cost £2 per person which includes food (pizza, chicken nuggets, chips). There is also a tuck shop to buy sweets.
Each session has a variety of toys, games and activities to make it a valuable time mixing with deaf peers. You are welcome to stay with your child if they are feeling a bit shy.
- Juniors (age 4 to 10) - 4pm to 6pm
- Seniors (age 11 to 18) - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Sport4Fitness
Sport4Fitness provide activities at their site in Fernie Fields including a biweekly youth club on Sundays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm for 11 to 18 year olds at £5 per person.
They have a gardening club for the whole family on Wednesdays from 4pm to 7pm and Fridays from 11:15am to 12:15pm at £2.50 for one child, £5 for 2 or more children and all adults free.

Y Not Arts - Dance and drama (Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts)
This club is at Malcolm Arnold Academy, Trinity Avenue, Northampton in term-time. This is a fun and relaxed environment for the students (and staff) to take part in dance and drama. There is an end of year performance.
For 9 to 25 year olds.
Times: Saturdays from 9:15am to 10:45am and 11am to 12:30pm
