Michelle (Wellbeing Advisor - Central)
"In my role as a Wellbeing Advisor, it’s good to be able to meet, talk and listen to individuals, identify their support needs, then work together with them to create an action plan to address these needs.
It can be a minefield out there for someone trying to find the right service or support, so to have someone do that for them can be a great relief. The positive difference this support can make to someone’s life gives me great job satisfaction."
Anne (Wellbeing Advisor - Central)
"I have been working with customers on a one to one for 8 years first at a Health Trainer in Northamptonshire NHS and now as a Wellbeing Advisor.
What I love most about this job are the customers, and the opportunity to build a trust relationship to then help them firstly to feel safe to open up talk and feel listened to and valued.
This then enables me to understand and support whatever changes they want to make to improve the quality of their life and their overall wellbeing, with whatever they wanted to change or improve."
Puja (Wellbeing Advisor - Central)
"I am passionate about encouraging and empowering people to live their best lives. By helping them take small, positive steps toward their goals, I provide emotional, social, and practical support.
I also connect individuals with community groups, services, and organizations to foster a strong support network. This role is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding."
Jodie (Wellbeing Advisor - Central)
"With 17 years of experience in local authority, I found my calling in 2016 when I became a wellbeing advisor. This role is perfect for me - I love meeting new people, having meaningful conversations, and making a real difference in their lives. Supporting individuals through some of their most challenging moments is not just my job, it’s my passion.
One of my proudest achievements is helping to create and now leading one of our Wellbeing Friendship Groups, which meet every Friday. Seeing the incredible social connections and friendships that have blossomed through this group is truly inspiring. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing I’ve played a part in bringing people together and helping them feel supported and valued."
Amy S (Wellbeing Advisor - Central)
"I’m passionate about empowering people to create positive change. I am dedicated to providing that in a way that works best for them. Whether it’s a face-to-face meeting, a phone call or even a walk and talk.
I’m happy to connect in whatever way feels most comfortable. Getting to know my customers is so important to me and I value the connections we build."

"I have always enjoyed supporting the community in improving their wellbeing. It is a very rewarding role, especially when you see someone through 12 weeks of support, and there are noticeable positive changes to their wellbeing.
I particularly enjoy getting out and completing walk and talks with my clients, especially when the sun is shining! It is a great way to discuss a person’s wellbeing with them, whilst keeping moving, and enjoying our wonderful surroundings."
