Homeless or at risk of becoming homeless?
Are you having trouble paying rent, needing food or looking for mental health support? For a list of services and groups that can help you, find advice on keeping your home.
Who can get homelessness support
You do not have to be on the streets to be homeless.
You could be homeless if you:
- do not have a place where you and your family can live together
- have a home but it is not reasonable to expect you to remain there - this may be due to violence, overcrowding or poor living conditions
- have been staying with friends or family, but they want you to leave
- have been locked out of your home by your landlord
- live in a mobile home, boat, or caravan, but don’t have a place to park or keep it
- do not have a place to live in the UK or anywhere else
If one or more of these conditions apply to you, you could be eligible for support.
Contact us as soon as possible if you are worried about your housing situation or about becoming homeless. We will work with you to try to prevent you from losing your home. The sooner you contact us, the more we can do to help
