Strong Start run a variety of free face-to-face programmes across North and West Northamptonshire to support families with babies and children under 5.

The Northamptonshire baby room project offers 3 courses and 3 half-day sessions.

The project's messages are that:

  • every experience a baby has builds connections in the brain
  • babies thrive when they have secure and loving attachments
  • playing and exploring promotes brain development

  • emotional development
  • playing and laughing
