Free face-to-face programmes for parents of children under 5
Strong Start run a variety of free face-to-face programmes across North and West Northamptonshire to support families with babies and children under 5.
These include:

- Introducing solids
- Save a baby

Understanding your baby
The Northamptonshire baby room project offers 3 courses and 3 half-day sessions.
The project's messages are that:
- every experience a baby has builds connections in the brain
- babies thrive when they have secure and loving attachments
- playing and exploring promotes brain development
Each course has sessions on:
- brain development
- emotional development
- playing and laughing
